Free Fall
Free Fall by Jack A.S. Dunce Without a single thought Of things coming to naught, Forgetting what was said When events came to head In just the recent past. Yesterday didn't last. Today maybe as bad, Or plain and simple sad, As I released my grip, Allowing myself to slip, Into the whims of chance, Be part of someone's dance, Which steps I do not know; I'll just go with the flow, And do it all by feel, Hoping this time it's real, So I'll embrace it all, This jump into free fall. --🏵️-- ©️pgmr 06/03/2025
