I stare outside as it rains the water trickling down the walls washing away the paint stains and an empty canvas is what remains The blank canvas brought peace me for in it I could see the reflection of the person I used to be a kid with a pure heart, always felt free But now I am chained as my hands have been stained not with paint, but my own blood I stare outside as the rain turns into a flood I stand still frozen in my frame no even a sense of survival remains I lay down on the ground I offer my body for the waters to claim I close my eyes and wait for death's sweat release hoping to find freedom as I decease I offer the only things that ever belonged to me maybe now I can finally be free
