fragile bond
In halls of whispers, shadows creep, A mother's doubt, buried deep. Each word a sting, a painful dart, Piercing the trust within my heart. A fragile bond, now torn and frayed, By accusations often made. I long for solace, a gentle hand, Instead, I'm lost in shifting sand. But even now, a flicker bright, A hope for change, a guiding light. To rise above the bitter sting, And find my voice, and learn to sing.
