fractured silence
I scream inside a hollow chest, Where hope once lived but now finds rest. Words choke, like poison in my throat, Drowned by silence, a sinking boat. Every step feels torn and worn, A battle fought but never won. The world moves on, indifferent, cold— While I’m stuck breaking, tired, and old. No one hears the cracks I hide, No hand reaches through the tide. Frustration burns, a ruthless flame, And sadness wears my soul’s own name.
