Fractured
I see a ghost in the mirror’s face, A soul in torment, lost in place. Scars on flesh, silent cries, Each one a wound that never dies. Self-doubt whispers in the dark, Feeding fears that leave a mark. I long for silence, crave release, But find no solace, no peace. I loathe this body, this cage of pain, A life consumed by endless rain. If tears could wash this grief away, I'd let them drown me, night and day. But here I stand, broken, worn, A heart too shattered to mourn. Only echoes, only cries, In a life where hope has died.
