Fox, horse, hummingbird
Guess she's lonely as a prairie in the dark Makes sounds not so easy to understand When it was a puppy it was a cotton thunderbolt She's smart, you can count on that But how scared she is, like a world falling apart She's loud, she knows how to cut with words Would follow mommy all around But she's calm, as a lagoon tide She's small, reminds me of the tiny plant in the fence A retired whisperer, phrases as fast as wings She likes a good nest She's mighty, not only because she's colorful
