FORGOTTEN FUTURE
I don't know much about this life. Maybe that's why I choose to write. Some hearts were made to carry storms. While searching for a little light. Tonight the future forgot my name. The one I had already learned by heart. I loved you as if there were no second choice. As if nothing could tear us apart. No, every answer becomes a question. What did I miss along the way, When did forever become a memory... Instead of a promise we used to say, The questions wait until midnight comes. Then sit where all my dreams once grew. So I write... because if I stop writing... I'll have to admit this life no longer has you.
