Forgotten
Time runs fast, And in a minute, nothing will last, Old, broken and filled with rust, Soon, everything will turn into dust. And yet, time restarts, back to zero, from the very start, Old becomes forgotten, And rust turns into nothing. New becomes old, As old is lost and a cycle begins, Time comes in a rush, And everything ends in a flash. A spark, one moment and then gone, A life well-lived now banned, Happy memories and all things fond, Turned into granules of sand.
