Forgive and Forget
We're all perfectly imperfect, a paradox of humanity, We all have weaknesses, and moments of insanity. We aren't good all the time, we stumble, and we fall, Sometimes the evil mind creeps in, and we end up wronging all. Why is it so hard to forgive, and forget the past? Why do we hold on to grudges, and let them forever last? Where is love, what happened to good hearts? Where is the clean spirit that we all had, from the very start? We were born with a heart full of love, and a soul so bright, But as we grew, and life took its toll, we lost our way, and our light. We let the world, with all its pain, and suffering, and strife, Hardened our hearts, and stole our love, and our clean spirit, and our life. But it's not too late, to make a change, to turn the tide, To forgive, and forget, and let love be our guide. To remember the love of Yahuah, that's always been there, To let it fill our hearts, and souls, and show us that we care. Let's choose to forgive, and forget the past, To let go of grudges, and let love forever last. Let's remember that we're all human, and we all make mistakes, And that love, and forgiveness, are the keys that unlock the heart's gates. So let's forgive, and forget, and start anew.
