forget-me-not
"Woah look it's so pretty! Your favorite color!" I was so innocent, so loving. Looking up to the only man in my life that thought to hold me and comfort me. He loved me dearly. I know he did. "Do you know what it stands for little monkey?" I'd used to climb trees and getting my knees all muddy. Childish fun, that's all it ever was. He'd come and get me, holding me up on his shoulders, even letting me graze the leaves with my fingers. I hate goodbyes. They came too early. Especially the ones he'd bid. "Don't forget me?"" My little voice, to hear it was to smile. To laugh, in glee. But honestly, with my size so little, no one could help but giggle. "True love. The moment I came here I saw these flowers everywhere, and I fell in love. Truly befitting. The forget-menot."
