The winter breeze brushes across my face As I sit on the frosted bench, I tie my shoelace Snowflakes dancing, falling slowly to the floor This delicate crystal so enchanting, I truly adore I heard the cold wind whispering in my ears Telling me the story about my fears Bath full of heavy years That made my eyes shed tons of tears Winter's like a long journey across oceans Don't stop until you reach Caribbean In this heart-stopping waves of hurt Waves of hurt that tried to prove my worth I walked to the forest in the misty winter This winter wonderland feels like forever A diphylleia that grew up out of ice frozen ground Can't be transparent when rains not around Tonight I'll follow my shadow in a tree hollow Grab my soft blanket and the jacket I borrowed Hoping when I open my eyes in the morning I'll see daylight sending me a warm greeting
