Forced to be a warrior.
On a battlefield I've walked, seen the horror's of the nights. Seen the bodies laying around, seeing the tears of families crying. I was chained to the wall, daggers thrown into my body. I didn't dare to look up, knowing if I did, I'd break. For months I kept quiet, kept navigating through the war. For months I kept running, hiding from the enemy, looking for my comrades, wanting to help. Even if it costed me my life. But I was lied to. Those who were supposed to be on my side, were against me, stabbed me in the back and chained me down. I kept silent as your sword sliced through my skin time and time again, I didn't show pain, I didn't scream. I didn't react, I didn't shed a tear. I kept silent, let you have your fun. In silence I planned my escape. In silence I saw your fear slowly building up. In silence I saw how your view of me change. I wasn't just a soldier. I was a warrior. But in your eyes? I was the Devil. I was what you feared the most. I was someone, who would never forget. Wouldn't forget the claws tearing my clothes, or the poisoned words destroying my mind. Forever and always I'll watch from the shadows, keep an eye on you, watch your every move. So you'll never hurt another.
