She was sunshine But she lost her shine; Because I can't call her mine. One of the happiest moments in my life Is when she held my hands for the first time. Being sunshine while I'm at the dark, Being guide when I'm lost, Listening to my stories, And hugging me everytime I feel defeated. So many memories to tell in my own story... So overwhelming yet so painful We both say that "love" was not in our vocabulary, But my heart says the opposite when you're being lovely. We sure know that; What we have was not "nothing" But something was stopping us; It's the people around us We can't be together Because we have the same gender. I know that I can't win. Because loving you will be a sin.
