Forbidden
I see that you see me That your heart warms when I'm around I know you consider me a forbidden fruit So beautiful to the eyes and sour to be consumed on the tongues of expressed emotions I know you could have watered the land before harvest but you had your reasons and you held back You called a treaty to your running emotions before the war was even started But like the cloud making way for the downpour of precious droplet you've watched me soar with wings stretched out with another, smiles so bright and words of admiration so loud and unending I see that you see me,but I also do know we don't get all our cravings, likes books and movies we all don't get an happy ending
