For You R
I wanted to write a poem, A verse to capture this, But my pen stutters on the paper, Overwhelmed by all you are. My thoughts, a rushing river, Where simple words are swept too far. So in plain words, I'll tell you: You are my constant thought. I love the goosebumps from your smile, The childhood joy your spirit brought. I love the harmony of our laughter, The kisses thrown across the air, The need to hold me close to you, The way you listen, kind and fair. I love each part, I love the whole, A truth that simply grows and grows. My only wish, my deepest hope, Is that forever, you'll be mine to hold.
