For my Moon
These drops of rain sounds like thy heart's lullabies, Each beat making ripples in mine heart which is thine. Oh! My moon, come out from black clouds— hear my cries! How will I enjoy this love's rain if my sweetheart won't shine? Thou art always infront of mine eyes, yet so far away, Art thou even real or just an illusion of this blind affection? This rainfall of love has soaked me wet, has made me stray, Oh mine darling, shine thy love upon me, give this love a direction. This rain may stop, the nature may stop reminding me of thee, But how will I erase myself as I am nothing but a product of thy love? The gift of death sounds like a boon, due to this distance, for me, But life is even sweeter when I can admire thy eyes, write poems of love. When I am tired from this distance, this deep love gives me wing, Its not the clouds but the love in my eyes which is raining.
