For me it is better to write

Have you heard young people or teenagers say, "School is the escape from home and home is the escape from school?" No? Okay, I'll explain it to you. At "home" I cry inconsolably, not knowing where to go, or who to turn to. At school, my own "friends" are the ones who make me cry, so where am I supposed to be better off?
