For Herself
Born in a world oh so cold. Poison in the water, chemicals in the food, Minds get twisted now the children are doom. From a long distance birth giver And a procreator for the womb Just Contracts and meetings No love for the proceedings Just a name as a number for the people To stop wondering Why so tough she's only your daughter Beating and pounding For attention, attention not a bother Growing and learning but never To be reassuring Is this the life I am to live? A broken team A sinister group meant to look functional With no flaws no mistakes? I hate this she said I hate it all she cried Even with the red herrings The trap doors she trusted The laughs she thought were joking All this while her heart is depleting Hope, faith, and love disappearing A victim to the thistles and thorns In a forest never wander This little girl now woman Comes out stronger and bolder She speaks with confidence The kind the girl needed She moves with elegance New evil leaves and old evil retreated She's the hero of her story The savior of her being The protector of her heart And this story is never ending
