For 26 Days
For twenty-six days, no words exchanged, In silence, our connection rearranged. No sign of presence, no likes appear, Yet online, I sense you near. In the dark of night, or morning's gleam, You're in my thoughts, it seems a dream. Twenty-six days, a prayer each night, Hoping you'll come back, make things right. Seeking signs, a plea to the sky, Yet nothing changes, no reply. Now, what I seek is closure's grace, To mend my heart's uncertain space. If not meant to be, I'll find my way, Release the hold, and start a new day.
