"Fluttering Dreams"
In fields of sorrow, I long to roam, Yearning to soar, to find my home. But alas, I'm bound, my wings clipped tight, Trapped in darkness, devoid of light. I wish to fly like a butterfly, Through azure skies, where dreams don't die. Yet here I lie, with shattered dreams, Lost in the echoes of silent screams. Each fluttering breeze, a whispered sigh, As I watch the butterflies dance on by. Their grace and beauty, a sight to behold, While I remain tethered, my story untold. Oh, to break free from this endless night, To spread my wings and take to flight. But fate has bound me, with chains unseen, Forever grounded, in this lonely scene. So I'll gaze upon the heavens high, And envy the butterfly's effortless sky. For I am but a captive of fate's cruel lie, Yearning to soar, yet destined to cry.
