Flowers of Depression
Such stunning flowers in the field, They adorn each other so well So brilliantly blossoming Yet mine are barren and dull They way they bloom so beautifully I wish mine did the same They are cared for so delicately But it’s all futile as they still wilt away I wish for mine to flourish It seems nearly impossible As if all the others are an allusion Putting up a facade Hiding the wilting flowers beneath, Just as I do, too
