Flood of Tears
A flood of tears, a river untamed, Flowing from a heart that’s been quietly pained. Each drop, a story of sorrow and grief, A cascade of emotions seeking relief. They fall like rain from a stormy sky, Unspoken words in each heavy sigh. Washing away the facade I’ve worn, Revealing the wounds that leave me torn. The tears, they cleanse, yet they burn so deep, Awakening fears that were buried in sleep. But in their flow, I begin to find, A way to heal, to ease my mind. For in this flood, there’s a certain grace, A tender release in the tears I trace. Though the pain is vast, the sorrow clear, These tears carry hope that the light is near. So I let them fall, let them freely flow, Trusting that in time, I’ll begin to grow. For after the flood, when the storm subsides, I’ll stand stronger, with clearer skies.
