Fleeting Radiance
I have never been in love before, or maybe I have, but it was fleeting. When I first saw him, he shone as brightly as the sun, a light I couldn't ignore. His eyes were as blue as the sky, ones I could easily fall into. I've never believed in love at first sight, but with him, I fell in a second. I fell without even knowing who he was or his personality, but I thought that eyes couldn't lie. Well, I was wrong, because eyes do lie, and his did. He was someone I fell for at first sight and fell out of knowing. It was amusing how love could turn into hate so deep with a switch. He was everything that I was wrong about. His blue eyes were like a manipulative spell that drew everyone in with just a look, and I just happened to be one of them. He shone brightly as the sun, a facade, a masquerade that hid his true face. I once loved him; now, he's just a presence to me that fills me with disgust and anger.
