Flaws is my design
All I can think is— did you ever truly love me? Leaving always came easier to you. Watching me walk away never tore you open the way your absence has stripped the skin clean off my bones. And I ask myself: if I died tonight, would you be okay? Would you rest easy with the way our story ended— with everything you know, everything you feel, everything you left behind? Because my answer is no. No, I wouldn’t be okay. I’d spend every hour hating the things I said, cursing the things I did, wishing I could take back every moment that pushed you away. I never wanted to hurt you. I never wanted to lose you. So if you died tonight— no, I wouldn’t survive it. I’d spend the rest of my life regretting that night, those choices, those fractures I couldn’t undo. Because my love— God, my love— is flawed by design. Built to hold on, never built to let go.
