"Flaws and weaknesses".
In the depths of my soul, shadows reside, My weaknesses and flaws, I cannot hide. In his eyes, they magnify, grow, A storm of disdain, a heart turned cold. In my silence, he finds a reason to despise, Each stuttered word, a torment in his eyes. My frailties, like daggers, pierce his heart, Unveiling truths, tearing our love apart. My doubts, like venom, seep into his core, Insecurities woven deep, forevermore. They poison his love, twist it into hate, His patience wanes, as my flaws dictate. My fears, like quicksand, pull him down, His hands stretched out, but I cannot be found. I drown him in worry, suffocate his dreams, As my weaknesses and flaws tear at the seams. But in this lament, a glimmer of hope, For even in darkness, love can still cope. If he could see beyond my broken facade, Embrace my flaws, find solace in the flawed. For it is in our weaknesses, beauty lies, The cracks in our armor, where love defies. And if he can only peer through love's pure lens, Perhaps my flaws won't make him hate, but mend. So let me not despair, nor loathe what I am, For every weakness, every flaw, is just a sham. In the tapestry of love, imperfections blend, And it's through acceptance, true love transcends.
