flame
one reel to light up my day and another to make me feel bright forget the gloom and sorrow to forego that fateful night - One where I felt unloved, and even hurt so deep one I'd rather not for an eternity repeat. so I shall pen down- each snippet of my world that was once shattered, torn and twirled. hope I won't forget the sadness I thought I'd have to live with, now there's only one option a life without you in it. don't ignite this flame of love I so desperately want to relinquish for the flame still burns as I pour my tears onto it. the tears that come from pain, the tears that rain, the tears that still aren't enough to extinguish the dying flame. perhaps it'll take me with, for my tears won't but my soul will extinguish it would I feel better if I let myself burn in this flame? or would it numb me further down? I know not what might come out of all of this, but I do know there's something dying and I hope it's just this flame and not me with it. a love that makes you live, learn and laugh - maybe someday I'll find that flame within.
