fixing myself
fixing myself like a broken down Chevy that someone's trying to restore covered in dust and rust no one likes anymore few have tried been past around from time to time that's how I ended up here in a field with stars lining up to say hello and the glow from fireflies dancing in the night I spend my time wishing I had someone to dance with to run through the fields and be a kid again I guess that's my only sin I've been too busy fixing myself I can't make time for anyone else I'll never be brand new some parts will stay the same some will be replaced maybe I'll run better maybe I won't start that's just how it is when you're fixing yourself
