Dunce There may be pain or none at all Though some or all these might befall: It's hard to walk or even stand, Like on a boat and not on land; It seems that things have hazy bands -- A photo shot with shaky hands; It can surprise and make one frown: A face that sags like a sad clown; An arm so numb, it's not around, Like London bridge, it's falling down; A speech that's garbled by a fan Or by a drunk but sober man. If any of these signs are clear, Be fast, it's time that we must fear.
