Fire and Ice
Her tears shed in despair Remembering, thinking overall Heart aching, being aware Of the things that will befall Before too long; she weeps silently Without letting anyone know Keeping her head down, differently From the people who show Their cry, seeking for pity Alas! No! She never reveals her pain No searches for empathy Nothing is to be gain From there sorrow: it's fake But wait — she lifted her head Gaze full of fire and ice, eyes rigid She has found her strength already Despite the tears have not been arid Uprising, fixing herself straight Faint smile, a contrast with those eyes Touched her lips; she will face her fate With courage — she will not break!
