finding my own way
In solitude's embrace, you find your peace, Amidst the darkness you've come to know so well, With hope, tomorrow's promise you do seize, Each step forward, gathering strength to quell. Your closest ones, do they truly see, Or seek you out when troubles near? Or do they come to boast and glee, While you, in shadows, persevere? You stand alone, but not in vain, For in silence, you seek your joy, They call you changed, aloof, in disdain, Yet this solitude, your way to employ. For when you needed, they were not there, Now you gather strength, in your own time, With every stride, in the dark you dare, To carve a path where happiness will climb. So hold onto hope, as night unfolds, Tomorrow's light, a promise true, In solitude's embrace, your spirit molds, As you rise, anew.
