Words bouncing around my head Negative Violent Taboo Yet I don't say a word Yet when I let a thought slip through You say I 'need a filter' Well I have one. If you were in my mind you would be TERRIFIED. These words I give voice to are NOTHING. I have so many more 'mean' words to say But you'll never hear them. Not one. Because you've taught me to turn them into myself It's why I'm addicted, After all. Turn all of the negative All of the hate All of the anger Sadness Hopelessness Rage Into myself Well, I couldn't do that forever And neither could you. So maybe we stop judging me And start judging yourself instead.
