Fighting with pain
My body's a battleground, a war zone inside Where pain and I are locked in a constant fight. It's a battle that rages day and night A war that I'm forced to wage, with no end in sight. Each day, I rise, ready to face the fight But pain is always there, waiting to ignite It's a fire that burns, a burning flame A constant reminder of the pain's dark name. I've tried to escape, to outrun and hide But pain always finds me, like a thief in the night. It creeps up on me, with stealthy steps And wraps its cold arms around my heart and my soul. But I refuse to give up, I will not surrender I'll keep on fighting, until the war is won I'll rise above the pain, I'll stand tall and strong. I'll face my fears, and sing my song. For I am a warrior, a fighter by heart I'll never give up, we'll never be apart I'll fight for every moment, for every breath I'll conquer pain, and emerge from the depths. So bring it on, pain, I dare you to try I'll meet you head-on, with tears in my ey I'll scream and shout, I'll rage and cry For I am fighting with pain, until I say goodbye.
