FIGHTING TEMPTATION.
I look at myself these days wondering what I'd become wondering how I'll face upcoming challenges I never felt this coming I never knew how to control this part It's starting again Tears rolling, head banging, heart bleeding "ungrateful, dishonest" What more could I give out? "cheat, liar, user, selfish" I think I deserve them all This prime was supposed to be only me This prime was my chance to shine This prime was removal of toxic people So why is the devil forfeiting this I can feel my best friend ailment near Gently peeping to my last burden heart I know I'm not supposed to give in And I won't Though the temptation feels good The burden is too heavy to journal The angels need my attention They know hod deep I can get For tonight I'm sleeping with this burden I'll wake tomorrow to fight That's if the battle is not already lost.
