I was trapped inside my room For hours and hours on end I was little so I sat there and cried 'Cause I was bored and wanted a friend Nobody told me what went on outside But I guess I kind of knew It was confirmed when the screams began And I wasn't in my room My mother and my father Fighting as I cried The tears stained my cheeks red As they fell from my eyes I was in second grade when it happened But I would just have to live with it Because it wasn't until middle school that the two decided to split
