Feel My Skin Burn
My mind constantly burns like a wildfire, Each impending thought scorching my heart and soul, So tonight I lay in the tub with the waters, As hot as I can stand so I can feel my skin burn In hopes that this physical touch burns hotter than the one in my mind, Tonight I feel my skin burn, "Death, Death, are you there I call?" "For when is it my turn?" For I cannot take my own life, I fear the flames of eternal burnation, I will not become my own extermination, Therefore I will not create my own damnation Tonight I feel my skin burn, I simply do not wish to die, But I simply wish to know, when is it my turn?
