I told myself to close my eyes, Don't look at the reflection in the mirror, Because if I take one more fucking look that mirror has to shatter, When all I want is solitude, Letting my toxic tendencies out when I feel like there's no one to fucking love me, Like I reached for the end of my rope, Waiting for my personal reason to survive to shine through, But instead shaking in a blood filled body, I can hear my heart pounding, And I've never been one to use my fists, Replacing depression with irritation, Like fuck, If I could just stay happy as fuck, Maybe then I wouldn't be such a fucking child when all these men leave me in the gutter, Spitting to find a way out, But I know I could never make it in rap, So I just write to free myself from my chains, Let my 8 mile be the only rule, To follow when everyone else disowns me, Because while they're grinning like jokers, I'm crying like the invisible loner.
