feast
The beast residing in my head Wants a fun blast tonight, it said. I warned my people, begged them to see, but my voice was silenced, the beast fed on my grief. Suddenly, I longed to fade from sight, i reached the void, that random night "Crave the blade into your flesh," it pressed, A haunting urge I couldn't suppress. The voice yelled at me, "Don’t stop!" They wanted to have fun until my life dropped. I shouted in terror, begging for help, but noone was in the room, i was meant to cope by myself. My veins ran dry as the lights grew dim, My heartbeat slowed, and the beast would grin. Losing it all, I fell to my knees, At last, the beast left, setting me free. -sree
