As the day drew near My heart raced like a deer My thoughts were a troubled sea I sought a way of escape "I'm not mentally stable " I told my family Tension and sickness crawling up within Surviving the phase bothered my very being And quitting was definitely no option Supplications were made My racing heart became calm Like the "peace be still" story in the scriptures I resented to laying expectations low and expecting the worst guess that's the only way
