Fearful Heart
Brown eyes shine in the bronze sun Hoping they'll shine on me till we depart Exchanged words are yet to come But there is still no change of heart Even though I know it'll never be me You know fortunate enough to be seen Wishing that I could ever change the thoughts But said thoughts aren't the weather Using my freedom of speech Allow fearful thoughts embrace me Even though repercussions are mild I'll hold onto my thoughts Like a mother holding their hurt child All of this in one day Preparing for the next soon But till we meet again brown eyes Goodbye until another time
