fear is a fickle thing.
When people ask me what my biggest fear is I keep it basic I say the dark sometimes I say heights Maybe spiders, weaving silky threads Maybe clowns with red noses bouncing down mirrored halls Sometimes, I say I'm afraid of the number 13 to be unique Sometimes, I'm afraid of vampires and their stoic castles Or of viscious flesh eating zombies with varicose veins popping from every appendage I could've said ghosts (of course, who wouldn't wanna see a ghost) But what I'm really afraid of Is of you thinking of me how I think of myself For that would be the lowest commendation To recieve my true fear is not grounded in paranormal But only That you see me for me. And find A dark cavern With tall cliffs at dangerous heights Filled with spiders And clowns And 13 strange pillars And vampires And zombies And ghosts And hopefully Me - and you find In my eyes. In my soul In my heart You.
