Fear – Inspired by Shigaraki
We held hands at family dinner The truths and lies fill up the air The threads between us growing thinner His glances are too much to bear I look up : my father's staring His look is sharp, no hint of caring He's blaming me – thats so unfair My gaze went down –it's filled with fear Fear – a feeling I have known for years One day... it just disappeared I felt like I could finally feel Like the murderer I've been for years The criminal I am – I feel Like that's my destiny, it's clear now It's always been the lies about fear But never all the hate thats real The hate I feel I don't feel... ...Like there's a way they could repair Everything I've crushed to ashes Those lives I took... it scares me How much I didn't care How a little kid like me Has been able to tear Apart the threads that nearly broke Wish I could share All the pain that I've been carrying These years Maybe there could have been a way To deal with fear Another way than getting addicted To being feared I hope there's nothing to repair If this story would replay I think I'd stare Into space seconds before I'd erase them all – again To bear the guilt and make it end
