Fatigue
I feel so tired, I think I've always felt so, Even as a little kid, days drifted slow. A weight upon my shoulders, unseen but real, Invisible chains bind me to what I feel. Each dawn arrives with promise, yet I find My spirit weary, in shadows confined. The sun's warm rays, they touch, but do not heal, A longing deep within, I cannot conceal. Dreams, once vivid, now a haze in my mind, Footsteps heavy, though no chains I can find. Is weariness my fate, my constant friend? Will this fatigue persist until the end? Oh, to find solace in the quiet night, Where weariness may fade, and dreams take flight.
