Father
I had a father not a dad. He did what he was supposed to nothing more. The difference between a dad and a father is anyone could be a father, but it takes a man to be a dad that word isn't used very often bc its earned not given. My father wasn't absent he was physically there his soul was jus somewhere else as if he was dreaming he was some place else, but instead he was with me bc he had no other choice. My father hated doing family stuff my mom would beg for hours until he gave in, but little me knew something was off. I could tell he wanted to be somewhere else u could see the anger in his face, it was like it was a burden to have fun with me. Some girls have a dad some have a father and some none or some have both. Some were abused physically or mentally. And some wish they got to meet theirs. I wish he could've been a man and that I was the daughter he wanted, but yet I forget I was jus the daughter of some other man, he used to treat me as if I was his own but it was all an act. I'm nothing to him, he comes to visit his son since my mom n him separated. I can see it in his eyes that when he asks how I am he really doesn't care. see I don't have daddy issues my father just has issues.
