father.
You were supposed to protect me. You wete supposed to give me the love that i now look for in the wrong places. I mever got to cry in your arms Because you were not there for me. I wanted-needed you to be there. Everytime i watch a father hug his little girl Im reminded of what i didnt get to have. Maybe you never tried your best. Or maybe you did And your best is just not what i needed. And then hitting me with drawback. I mean thats not the only thing you hit me with. Your words cut deep But your addiction cut deeper. I didnt even notice i was bleeding red. All i hoped Was that you would finally choose me.
