Fates Cold Hand
In the depths of loss and sorrow's embrace, I tread upon a path no one can trace. A tale of friendship, once ablaze with light, Now shrouded in darkness, forever in my sight. dear companion, my soul's true kin, We walked through life, sharing every din. Through laughter and tears, hand in hand we stood, But fate's cold hand snatched you; where now I should? The void you've left, an ache deep within, No words could heal this wound, nor lessen the din. Each passing day, my heart whispers your name, As I search for solace, engulfed in this flame. Alone, I bear the weight of my grief, Convinced that silence is the only relief. Who truly cares for these tears that I shed? The world seems indifferent; their empathy fled. Yet in each teardrop that courses down my cheek, I feel a flicker of strength, though frail and meek. For even in darkness, a glimmer still gleams. Though others may not comprehend my pain, Within my heart, your memory shall remain. A sacred bond unbroken, forever alive, A constellation of memories that will survive. In solitude's embrace, I find solace anew, As I cherish the moments spent with you. And though the pain may never wholly subside, In time it's intensity may gently reside.
