Fate. I don't know if I believe in fate anymore Fate is just a lie people use to convince themselves everything is fine That their pain isn't caused by their own deepest flaws Blinding myself with fate isn't going to bring us together Emotional blindness only makes you weak And love is not a product of surrender To let fate guide you is to turn your back on someone who wields a dagger Abd let them stab you Thinking you can't shatter If I let fate guide me it's going to bring me back to you It'll make me believe that there's a reason for this And I'm not that naive At least not enough to let myself stand there once again And watch you leave
