Farmer
As the sun arises in the east, The farmer runs towards his fields, And sees the weeping, Ruined crops, he beholds. He looks towards the blue sky and prays For mercy, and suddenly, A little rabbit hiding in the grass Jumps out. The farmer leaves his prayer And runs after it. Soon he catches it, He sees in the frightened eyes of little creature, feels palpitating heart And leaves the rabbit, recites his prayer, Then returns home.
