Far from Home
In distant lands, I wander wide, A student's journey, with heart full of pride. I left behind, the familiar sights, The warmth of home, and loving lights. My parents' smiles, now a distant memory, Their guiding hands, no longer near to me. I miss the laughter, the tears, the fun, The comfort of home, where love has just begun. But still I strive, through trials and strife, To make my dreams, a shining, golden life. For education's call, I had to roam, To chase my passions, and make a brighter home. Though far from home, my heart remains, Tied to the love, that forever sustains. My parents' prayers, a blessing on my way, Give me the strength, to face each new day. So I'll hold on tight, to the love we share, And though I'm far, my heart will always be there. For home is where, the heart finds rest, And though I'm distant, my love for home is best.
