Familiar
Can you miss someone you’ve never met, or is it all just me? Like something’s that's been missing, that I just couldn’t see. I don't know how a face not seen could feel strangely familiar, Like a moment you’ve not lived before, but somehow still remember. Could two worn souls still find something that’s easy and brand new? Not perfect or planned or intentional, but something that is true. Like two magnets that drift away then quietly align, Not forced into place but drawn together, could it be a sign? I used to overthink it all, what’s real and what could be, But lately I've been wondering if it’s simpler than that to me. That maybe it’s not all fate, or part of some grand design. Just two people at the right place, crossing at the right time.
