false escape route
I procrastinate, I'm bored. I put off all my duties. I stop being productive, I don't move. Each leg becomes anchored and immobilizes me. My body is trapped in the comfort of doing nothing. I'm aware that my mind has me prisoner; I no longer fight it. My head sinks, and my body follows suit. My eyes open the smallest amount; out of laziness, sleepiness, routine. I forget to talk, to rest, but I never get food out of my brain. I eat out of anxiety, to kill time, to feel like I'm doing something. I hate my attempt at escape.
